Using a remote control, users can activate the alarm as fast as possible. It is also possible to carry around a remote as needed as they are light and small in size. This means that even worshippers can activate the system if they believe it to be necessary. This would allow for lowered reaction time and minimised risks. In the case of non-life-threatening situations that still require reaction, users can choose to play custom music. Doing this still gives out a signal without unnecessary panic, especially for younger people. Custom Colours for the Hazavoid Wireless Alert Beacon System
The Hazavoid Wireless Alert Beacon System offers four different colours (Red, Amber, Blue, and Green) to fit most situations. In cases of sensory overload, LEDs can indicate danger or lack thereof in better ways than tones and alarms can. Creating reliable and adequate training for staff can allow for easy directing and less panic.
One can choose to have the beacons mounted on either a wall or a pole for ease of access and discretion. It is possible to activate the Hazavoid WiLERT in two ways, either with a remote control or with sensors. Using a remote, users can carry the device as needed for efficient manual activation. This is especially useful when one is on-site and notices danger firsthand, for instance with intruders. One can also utilise sensors, either when awareness might be lowered or when no one is on the premises. Once activated, anyone detected entering the area of concern will cause the Beacons to start flashing.
