It is easy to customise tones and to use them as starting cues for the race. Doing this allows for officials to control the race from the push of a button. This would offer an easier process and higher awareness for all.
Moreover, the system activating with a remote is beneficial for high-stress situations where time is key. In the case of a rider falling off, it is possible to alert others using a customised tone. Especially in a situation of low visual abilities such as a day with fog, being able to loudly signal for all to hear that a hazard is present, can help minimise it. Similarly for other situations, certain built-in tones such as “Evacuate” can be helpful in the case of a natural disaster as races happen in open fields.
Custom Colours for the Hazavoid Wireless Alert Beacon System
The Hazavoid Wireless Alert Beacon System offers four different colours (Red, Amber, Blue, and Green) to fit most situations. In cases of sensory overload, LEDs can indicate danger or lack thereof in better ways than tones and alarms can. Creating reliable and adequate training for staff can allow for easy directing and less panic.
Using coloured beacons as visual cues can be very helpful during a Horse Race, both as a complement to audio signaling or on their own. Different colours can be used to indicate the start and end of a race. Moreover, using colours in a gradient order can help to assist audio cues in the case of an accident to establish the gravity of a situation. Here then, Red would be considered the most dangerous, and Green the least worrisome.
